It includes four large private bedrooms, two shared handicap accessible bathrooms, as well as a spa room featuring a roll-in shower and a drop-down accessible spa tub. This home also features zoned climate control for comfort and in-floor heat.
This is an all-female program. The individuals residing in this home experience intellectual and developmental disabilities, with ages in the 30s and 40s. At Windrush, people have a lot of fun and get along great. They all go out for work and daytime activities during the week. In the evenings and on weekends, they love to be out shopping, going out to dinner, to the movies, horseback riding or Special Olympics, just to name a few.
This home has 24-hour supervision with asleep overnight staff. It is perfect fit for a someone who experiences developmental disability, medical needs,
accessibility needs, neurological related diseases, or brain injury, and would love to be "one of the girls."
