In the fall of 2019, Tadd's Lighthouse Inc. custom-built a brand-new handicap accessible home located in a country neighborhood setting in St. Cloud. This beautiful home features single level living, four private bedroom suites, two shared accessible bathrooms, one shared accessible spa room (with a roll-in shower as well as a drop-down accessible spa tub with a mechanical ceiling lift). This home features zoned climate control for comfort and in-floor heat.

The Brookwood CRS program has 24-hour supervision with awake overnight staffing. Currently, this is a mixed gendered home. The individuals residing in this home experience intellectual, developmental disabilities with handicap accessibility needs. The ages of the people living at Brookwood range from their 40s to 60s. A sense of family and community is important to the overall success of people here. Our agency partners with other homes and community-based providers in order to provide opportunities for meaningful daytime and work options. The people at Brookwood love to go shopping, to dinners, movies, sporting events, Special Olympics and fishing These are just a few of the many activities that people participate in.

Brookwood has a specially adapted vehicle with a hydraulic lift to help with safe and efficient transportation.
