Jacob Comee is the founder and co-owner for Tadd’s Lighthouse, and serves as the Chief Executive Officer. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and received a B.A in both Psychology and Family Studies, along with concentrations in Neuroscience and Women’s and Gender Studies. Jacob’s experience in the Health and Human Services field, which began when he was 16 years old, convinced him that Tadd’s Lighthouse was necessary. In 2007, while pursuing a M.A. degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Jacob left graduate school to start Tadd’s Lighthouse, Inc.
Jacob’s experiences in the Health and Human Services field include: paraprofessional to elementary school aged children; special education teacher assistant; direct support professional for in home family support and respite services; volunteer work with Special Olympics programs in Minnesota; QMRP/QDDP for multiple residential and corporate foster care settings; Designated Coordinator/Designated Manager for a variety of services within the Home and Community Based Services (Community Residential Settings/In Home Services/Supported Employment Services); as well as provided Program Support and Compliance Services as a Chief Consultant to a number of business throughout the Twins Cities, and greater Minnesota.
Away from Tadd’s Lighthouse, Jacob is a devoted family man; avid sports enthusiast; and enjoys traveling abroad.
