Carol Anderson is the Director of Nursing for Tadd’s Lighthouse, and has been with the company since 2013. Carol graduated from Normandale Community College and passed her Registered Nursing boards in 1980. She has a combined 47 years of nursing experience as an LPN and RN, and has worked in a vast array of settings, which include: hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, home care settings (both group homes and in-home). Carolalso has a number of years of experience in staff development as she was instructor for nursing assistant classes, and taught infection control and overriding medical needs courses in nursing homes. Carol’s philosophy to instructing staff is to instill in those she teaches how to be a caring person and do each care with dignity and respect for the individuals served.
Carol lives with her husband and son in Delano. She has two other children and two grandchildren.
Carol has worked with learning disabled children and adults through the years as her 30-year-old son is autistic. Carol has gone to seminars, participated in fund raisers for autism and talked with many parents about the programs and goals to set for their learning disable children and adults.
